  5. Hearn said a couple of tiny little snippets during interviews at the Whyte/Parker event that made it clear to me that AJ seems to be the stumbling block now during the AJ/Wilder talks (which appear to be almost dead in the water) whereas Wilder was the villain of the piece originally over the $$$. The devil was in the detail, as the saying goes, and when the dollar moved up to $8m for Wilder it was AJ who threw a wrench into the flywheel. Fury then threw his hat in the ring and I think it was viewed by the Wilder camp as a cakewalk. Fury is anything but fit. The harder fight for Wilder I believe is Whyte but will the Wilder team be wanting to start negotiations again with Hearn's Matchroom for a Whyte deal? Maybe sick of them by now. I think Wilder/Fury gets made for December and I think Wilder wins convincingly. And I still say its slightly too early for AJ to be fighting Wilder. Until he has overcome this R6 switchoff issue.

    Dare to be great

Agree EJ for Mikey is more the courageous. But likes bin said - has Mikey seen a flaw in the slick stylee ? I bin bodybuilding all my life and I can say truthfully, without gear, you will only gain maxx 7-8lbs of lean muscle mass per year. And that would be gained by BB alone as an activity - no sparring 30 rounds a day and running up n down hills! So most of Mikeys weight gain will be fluid retention - on the weigh-in day.

one of my favorite knockouts ever was leonard almost decapitating donald lalonde. his horrible little mullet looked great as he crumbled to the canvas from that violent left hook to the chops.

i wonder what mikey saw in him that makes him think he can win. you just don't pull errol spence's name out of a hat and call him out.
  13. GRIM

    Dare to be great

I think Spence is a bit too much for Mikey, Spence can crack and loves attacking the body.

    Dare to be great

spence is a bigger jump by far. delahoya was shot and had to lose 7 pounds to make 47 for the first time in a decade
  17. mofo surely this is better than Whyte , no?
  18. “I believe 100 percent that this fight is going to happen and it’s going to get done. We’re very, very close. Closer than Joshua and me could ever get in a lifetime. It’s definitely gonna happen, there’s no doubt. There’s just a little more work to be done," Wilder told Mike 'Copp' Coppinger of The Ring. https://www.boxingscene.com/wilder-deal-fight-fury-closer-joshua-deal-ever--130506

    Dare to be great

how rare is this in todays fight game , a fighter daring to be great I think the most refreshing part of Mikey vs Spence is that Mikey sees the fight just like we all do , Ej different monster , bangs the body first bigger stronger faster he acknowledges it all but still wants that smoke what was/is the bigger dare Manny Pac jumping up to fight Goldie or Mikey jumping up to EJ ?

    Whyte v Parker Result

Whyte's got no amateur experience, little pro experience and is batting way above his average for a short spell at the moment. Lets not get carried away here. Wilder will be a good payday for Whyte but he get a proper schooling. He wont be able to shoulder barge and elbow Wilder the way he bullied Parker - who's body language said to me he didnt want to be in the arena never mind the ring. I think Whyte beats Povetkin, Breazeale and Miller but not Fury, AJ, Wilder or Ortiz.

    Whyte v Parker Result

I pretty confident once wilder touches whyte he goes
  23. Im not; Chisora is way past his best - Wilder should take on Whyte; he has already managed to duck him once!
  24. Mofo2

    Whyte v Parker Result

Whyte simply fought no more than that, it aint a tickling contest and Parker couldnt handle his in your face style - neither would Wilder!
  25. GRIM

    Whyte v Parker Result

    Interesting, I’m watching now
  26. As long as they do the AJ Wilder fight right after i'm fine with this.
  27. JoshB

    Whyte v Parker Result

Whyte fought very dirty & almost got stopped in the last round. I don't consider him a serious challenge to AJ or Wilder. Even Ortiz would probably beat him. Still a good win though i'll give him that.
