    Big Baby Miller vs Joshua

Its a shame that Wilder was such a coward, we could have been looking at unifiction in April!!
  7. Im not getting how Brezeale was put in as mandatory for Wilder, when he is ranked 3rd and Whyte is number 1; this will make things a little clearer!!
  8. Whyte opens as a 3-1 favorite

    MAIDANA SIGNS MULTI-FIGHT DEAL

Cant imagine him being anything other than a sure win for any of Haymons top welters.
  16. Should be a good scrap, I'm not too sold on Breazeale at the moment though.
  17. WBC order Dillian Whyte vs Dominic Breazeale Dillian Whyte and Dominic Breazeale have been ordered to fight by the WBC for an interim heavyweight title. Both Whyte and Breazeale have suffered the only defeat of their career to IBF, WBA and WBO world champion Anthony Joshua and victory for either would put them in contention for a world title shot. The pair failed to agree terms when talks were held over a potential bout last year, but with a shot at Deontay Wilder's WBC title likely to be at stake this time around, there is plenty of motivation to make the fight. Whyte took to his Twitter account shortly after the WBC released a statement, expressing apparent excitement at the announcement. Joshua knocked out Whyte in December 2015, and beat Breazeale by the same method six months later, but both men have responded well to defeat. Breazeale has strung together three victories to boast a record of 20-1-KO18, while Whyte has won on nine occasions to improve his overall record to 25-1-KO18. Source: Sky Sports
  18. MARCOS MAIDANA SIGNS MULTI-FIGHT DEAL WITH PBC, PLANS TO RETURN TO WELTERWEIGHT Marcos Maidana announced Friday night that he’s coming out of retirement. The 35-year-old signed a multi-fight deal with Premier Boxing Champions, according to industry sources, and will return this summer. Maidana will once again train with Robert Garcia in Riverside, California, sources said. The former two-division champion hasn’t competed since 2014 when he suffered consecutive defeats to Floyd Mayweather. The Argentine is expected to end a nearly five-year layoff this summer with a comeback fight against limited opposition that will pay him seven figures, possibly at 154 pounds, according to sources. After that, Maidana is expected to return to welterweight. First, he’ll have to cut a tremendous amount of weight. The second fight of his pact with PBC could pit him in a rematch with Adrien Broner, per sources. Maidana upset Broner in 2013 and earned him a crack at Mayweather. Maidana (35-5, 31 knockouts) gave Mayweather all he could handle in their first meeting to set up a lucrative rematch. Mayweather outpointed him again, this time in more convincing fashion. Maidana announced his retirement two years later. Assuming Maidana indeed returns to 147 pounds, as expected, there’s a wealth of interesting fights for him with PBC stacked in the welterweight division.

    Has Whyte Overpriced Himself ?

whyte does way better numbers in the UK than big baby miller & he knows joshua has limited options while he is not able to fight and/or refuses to fight fury/wilder. So I say good on him for recognizing that & trying to get payed.
  22. Has Whyte Overpriced Himself ? When it comes to the heavyweight ranks, it’s hard to think of a more engaging contender than Dillian Whyte. The WBC belts is held by Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua holds the IBF, WBA, and WBO titles, and many in the sport still consider Tyson Fury the lineal champion; but when it comes to the next in line, Whyte has as good of a case as anyone for fighting for the big belts. https://www.ringnews24.com/2019/02/05/did-dillian-whyte-overprice-himself-at-the-negotiating-table-for-an-anthony-joshua-rematch/
