Anthony Crolla is hoping to fight for another title before the summer is out, according to trainer Joe Gallagher.

The Mancunian is currently the English lightweight champion but has a number of options open to him, including dropping down in weight.

Crolla has a had a busy 12 months, including two fights with Derry Mathews, a 10-round war with Kieran Farrell as well as a Prizefighter appearance.

"There's offers on the table at super-featherweight and lightweight and we'll see."

And while Gallagher is keen to give the 26-year-old a break, he also wants to make the most of the opportunities that are around.

"Anthony is box office, he's got a good fan base and is great TV and we've got to see what's best," he told Sky Sports.

"There's offers on the table at super-featherweight and lightweight and we'll see. Hopefully Crolla will be made mandatory for the British title and there's a few opportunities out there.

"He's an expecting Dad and the baby is due at the end of August. He wants to fight again in July and I want that for him, to be able to go away and enjoy his time without the pressure of a fight.

"Anthony is used to the big fights and without that it's hard to find the motivation. His stock is quite high and there's a big show involving David Haye in Manchester that would be great in front of his home fans."
