asianboxing 4
Ishida, best known for stopping James Kirkland in a round, will be hoping to begin a new chapter of his career at Heavyweight. Ishida will need to pass a public sparring session on January 11th to become a licensed Heavyweight though the expectation is that if he passes this session he will be challenging for the Japanese national title on April 30th. asianboxing 4
haha this must be a jokeI wish it was. The JBC and Kadoebi have announced it so I'd assume it's as close to legit as you can get.

He's the post sparring picture of a 202lb Ishida http://www.asianboxing.info/5/post/2014/01/ishidas-heavyweight-spar-seemingly-a-success.html
GRIM 679
Well fortunately his timing is good because we have real crappy heavy weights right now so he will just fall into place

asianboxing 4
Well fortunately his timing is good because we have real crappy heavy weights right now so he will just fall into place Sounds like he's only targeting the Japanese national title so I doubt he cares too much about the HW's from Europe and America. To me, it seems like a "let me fight for the national HW title then I'm going to retire"

To me, it seems like a "let me fight for the national HW title then I'm going to retire"actually his 202 lb doesn't look bad PED's anyone how is the "heavyweight " Japanese scene? his goal seems realistic
Slayer 3
You kidding me, he'd get murdered by any decent Euro or US heavyweight! I mean, yes he's bigger now but he still got a chin of a jmw/mw.
blackrican23 306
but he is not targeting any Euro or American Heavys only those in Japan. Japan has great fighters in the lighter weights but at heavy?
