Julio Cesar Chavez Jr will make his comeback in July against Brian Vera, with Mexico City the probable location for the bout.

According to a report by Salvador Rodriguez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's ring return has been pushed back to July 13, and the Mexican fighter will face Brian Vera, most likely in Mexico City.
Here's what Chavez had to say:

"It is virtually a change of three weeks that I feel is necessary to get better prepared and that's a good date," Chavez said. "The fight is against Brian Vera, who is a dangerous opponent and one of the two options we had. We hope to announce it soon."

The fight will be contested at a catchweight, with 165 pounds being called the likely limit.

Chavez (46-1-1, 32 KO) hasn't fought since September, when he lost to Sergio Martinez in Las Vegas. He failed a post-fight drug test for marijuana, and was eventually given a ninth month suspension and a huge, $900,000 fine.

He had planned to return in June, but the pushed-back date is probably, as Chavez says, a good idea, considering we're near May already, and a lot of eyes on June 22 will be on Brooklyn, where Adrien Broner faces Paulie Malignaggi.

A fairly tough fight but ultimately not a really hard test for Beaverface Jr. Vera may have stopped Dzinziruk, but Dzyna was already finished and was never good as a mw.
