Mofo2
Former WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev has spoken os his desire to fight on the Klitschko v Povetkin undercard after beginning his recovery from an horrific eye injury suffered against Guillermo Jones last week. The 33 year-old was stopped late on against the Panamanian after taking a brutal beating on the eye and spent five days in hospital until the swelling subsided. The Russian now hopes to return on the big-money September event after speaking with Russian network NTV this week.Source: WBN
Mofo2
No they were relatively serious, he is a little optimistic here!
blackrican23
Lebedev healing quickly , picture from yesterday lost in all the arm chair quarterbacking about his eye and his corner is that Lebedev fought extremely well with a closed lead eye for almost the whole fight Jones took some good shots to win
Mofo2
when you say relatively serious, do you mean bone damage or internal damage such as retinal problems etc I read there was suspected damage to the eye itself that would have suggested retinal issues' but looking at the picture rican posted he appears to be on the mend....well at least on the exterior damage!
