Mofo2
Tomas Dulorme, a junior welterweight prospect from Puerto Rico, returned home Saturday and outpointed late replacement Ben Ankrah, from Ghana, in the main event of "Night of Champions" held a few miles from San Juan.Dulorme dominated the fight and set the pace against Ankrah, who was a late replacement for Colombian Ivan Hernandez, who pulled out due to an alleged injury to his left hand. All three judges saw Dulorme win every round by an identical 80-72 score."I knew he was strong," said Dulorme. "He recently went 12 rounds with Patrick Allotey [unbeaten in 27 fights] and that says a lot of how strong he is. But I came to fight tonight wanting to show everyone I'm on my way to be the world champion at 140."Dulorme, who fought both left and right stances during the fight, improved to 18-1, with 13 KOs. Both fighters weighed in at 145 pounds after the fight had been signed at a limit of 142.
