Mofo2 Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr will face Brian Vera at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 7, promoters Top Rank have confirmed. The fight will be made at super-middleweight and marks the first time that Chavez Jnr has boxed in LA for more than two years.It will also be his fight outing since his world title loss to Sergio Martinez in Las Vegas last year.Texan Vera is coming into the clash on the back of four straight wins, including triumphs over Sergey Dzinziruk and Sergio Mora.
