Mofo2 Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Light-middleweight contender James Kirkland has signed a promotional contract with 50 Cent's SMS Promotions.The 29-year-old southpaw has been out of the ring since his ten round stoppage of Carlos Molina in March last year and will return on December 7 on the undercard of Guillermo Rigondeaux's clash with Joseph Agbeko. "James concentrates on conditioning and building strength," 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, said."He brings the fight to you and is aggressive in the ring. The crowd loves the action and I'm excited to make him a part of our team." Kirkland said: "I had a relationship with 50-Cent before he came into the boxing business. "We already had a friendship when he got this group together. He can do what no other promoters can do."He's a different type of promoter who can make things happen in and out of the ring for me.
