Mofo2
Anthony Joshua has insisted that he is focused on defeating Dorian Darch on Saturday night, despite holding ambitions to compete for the British title. The Olympic gold medalist has won his opening three professional fights, and as he prepares for his bout in Cardiff this evening, the young heavyweight has admitted that he is keen to fight for the domestic strap. The 24-year-old is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "I wouldn't turn it down if the opportunity arose. "I do have instructions from my coach, but, me, personally, I'd love to go for the big time and fight for a British title. "Come the summer, they'll be more news to come. Potentially, an opportunity might arise where I compete for a title. But as for now, I'm concentrating on Saturday." Darch has won seven of his nine fights, with his two defeats coming against Hughie Fury and Ian Lewison.
