Mofo2
Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora’s summer rematch looks set to be for the British heavyweight title. The British Boxing Board of Control has granted a request from promoter Frank Warren to put the Lonsdale belt vacated by David Price in December on the line when the pair meet later this year. Final details of the clash are yet to be finalised but it appears plenty will be up for grabs with the match-up long being talked up as a world title eliminator and Chisora also holding the European heavyweight title. Morecambe giant Fury was a points victor over an out of shape Chisora for the British and Commonwealth straps in their first meeting back in July 2011. It remains unclear whether the 22-0 25-year-old will take another fight in the build up to the rematch with Warren set to hold a major press conference on Monday where full details of the fight could be announced. Fury stopped American Joey Abell in four rounds last time out in February after two aborted fights with David Haye had seen him out of the ring for the best part of 10 months.
