Braehmer will defend his belt against WBA #14 Roberto “La Bestia†Bolonti (35-2, 24 KOs) on June 7 at Sport- und Kongresshalle Schwerin, Germany. “He likes to put a lot of pressure on his opponents and I am a counter-puncher,†said 35-year-old Braehmer. “His style will play into my hands – I will tame ‘La Bestia’!â€Bolonti, also 35, thinks different, referring to the German’s loss against his compatriot Hugo Hernan Garay in 2008. “It will be no different come June 7. The beast will be hungry – hungry to win the WBA Championship!†Braehmer answered Bolonti’s claims: “I was sick when I fought Garay.
