selij
HOF Ready To Announce 2015 Candidates The International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York, announced that the Class of 2015 will be unveiled Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. ET. There will be inductees in four categories -- modern, old-timer, nonparticipant and observer -- as voted on by the Boxing Writers Association of America and an international panel of boxing historians. Electors’ ballots had to have been returned to the HOF by Oct. 31. The 2015 Hall of Fame induction weekend will be held June 11-14 in Canastota. Among the 30 candidates on the ballot in the modern category (fighters who had their final fight no earlier than 1989) are holdovers Naseem Hamed, Dariusz Michalczewski and Wilfredo Vazquez Sr. and first-ballot fighters Nigel Benn, Riddick Bowe, Chris Eubank, Genaro Hernandez, Julian Jackson, Ray “Boom Boom†Mancini, Michael Moorer, Orzubek “Gussie†Nazarov, Lupe Pintor, Meldrick Taylor and Fernando Vargas. I think the massively overrated Eubank who barely left England, never fought in the USA and shamelesslessly ducked every American in the division does not deserve the vote. What do you say..................? Any other arguments amongst these names?
Mofo2
Ofcourse Eubank deserves the vote, he was best the best his division when all the main guys were Brits...he didn't need to go anywhere!! I gotta go for Nas though!!
