Takashi won his title against Gamaliel "Platano" DÃaz, in Tokyo Japan, and the he has successfully defended it against an army of tough Mexican contenders - Sergio Thompson, Dante Jardon and Edgar Puerta.Gonzalez has already been discussing the possibility of moving up in weight to challenge Miura (28-2-2, 21 KO´s) for his title.Regarding the idea of that fight, Miura stated: “I want to fight against the best. Of course I am interested fighting against him.
