Joe Gallagher in row with rival trainer ahead of Callum Smith and Rocky Fielding title fight

Trainer Joe Gallagher believes Oliver Harrison is wrongly trying to make this weekend’s fight between Callum Smith and Rocky Fielding all about him.

The two men will be in opposite corners on Saturday when Smith and Fielding clash for the vacant British super-middleweight title at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

Smith is part of the Gallagher stable that is based in Bolton, while Fielding is trained by Harrison in Salford.

The war of words began when Harrison claimed Gallagher is not a world-class trainer, before following that up by wearing headphones when Gallagher spoke at a press conference yesterday.
