Unbeaten WBC bantamweight champ Shinsuke Yamanaka (25-0-2, 17 KOs), 117.75, kept his belt as he came off the canvas twice in the third, but floored former WBA 115-pound ruler Liborio Solis (23-4-1, 10 KOs), 117.5, twice to win a unanimous decision over twelve give-and-take rounds on Friday in Kyoto, Japan.

All the tallies were identical: 117-107 scored by Cathy Leonard (US), Gary Ritter (US) and Juan Carlos Pelayo (Mexico). The referee was Ian John-Lewis (UK).
