Floyd Mayweather gives strongest hint yet that Conor McGregor fight is on

Floyd Mayweather has given fight fans their biggest hint yet that a bout with Conor McGregor is set to go ahead.

The 39-year-old has posted an image to his Instagram page of the pair in what appears to be a poster for the clash.

This will only increase rumours that the Boxing and UFC greats are set to face each other, with both camps suggesting that an agreement is close.

However, it would be a surprise if the bout was to take place soon, with famous boxing trainer Freddie Roach recently claiming it could take three years for the MMA fighter to be ready to fight in the boxing ring.

Meanwhile, Mayweather hasn’t boxed since announcing his retirement last September, finishing his career with a 49-0 record.
