David Haye could be about to fight for his first heavyweight world title since returning to the fight game after Alexander Ustinov’s manager confirmed he was on a two-man shortlist to fight for the WBA interim title.

The British boxer has been extremely vocal in his desire to fight for another world title and was recently overlooked for a clash with Anthony Joshua and Lucas Browne.

Browne insisted Haye has not earnedarrow-10x10.png a shot at a world title, but Vladimir Hyrunov has now revealed his fighter will either fight the 36-year-old or Manuel Charr.

‘Alexander Ustinov has reserved the right to with the WBA to hold a championship fight,’ Hyrunov told Boxing Scene.
