IBO welterweight champion Chris Van Heerden is set to place his title on the line against Paul McCloskey in Belfast. Talks have reached an initial agreement for the pair to meet this autumn. McCloskey manager, Francie McNichol said "Paul was interested in the fight with Chris straight away and it is a great opportunity for him We want this fight for Paul and will be looking for a venue for it to take place in Belfast this September."
