What that means to Team Alexander is y'all can let Amir Khan know that's his ass come December," stated world-class trainer Kevin Cunningham, who commented on the recent breaking news that undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather will face undefeated jr. middleweight champion Saul Alvarez on September 14. Cunningham's own fighter, IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander, was originally thought to be in the running to face Mayweather on that date, but with this latest announcement, Team Alexander is now shifting their focus to former jr. welterweight champion Amir Khan.
